You’ve got questions.

Is therapy for me?

Therapy is often thought of as something you turn to only in times of crisis or extreme emotional pain.  But research shows that everyone benefits from becoming more self-aware through speaking honestly about themselves. Life is a series of challenges, and I’ve spent most of my adult life studying and training to help people not just survive those challenges, but to thrive from them. My clients find me honest, objective, supportive, and able to help them develop strategies for coping with whatever difficulties arise. My goal is to have every client leave me more confident, comfortable with themselves and others, and capable of learning and growing from whatever life brings their way.

Where do you practice?

I am licensed to practice in the state of New York, and have offices in both Manhattan and Westchester. Additionally, I offer virtual visits via doxy.me, a HIPAA compliant platform.

Do you take insurance?

I am not on any insurance panels, but I am happy to provide you with documentation to receive out of network insurance benefits.

How can I get out-of-network benefits?

The first step is to call your insurance carrier and ask whether you have mental health benefits for an out of network provider. If the answer is “yes” then ask the following questions to get the most information:

  • What is my annual deductible?

  • After the deductible is met, what is the co-insurance rate that the insurance company will cover per session?

  • What is the customary rate for zip code 10017?

  • What is the maximum out of pocket cost per calendar year?

Here is more information your insurance company may ask for:

    Service:  "Out-of-network, out-patient, mental health"

    CPT Code: 90834

    Provider details:  Psychology (PhD)

    ZIP Code :10017
